Hermes Backups is a private automation tool that runs on its owner's own computer and connects to its owner's own Google account. It is provided for the personal use of that single individual. It is not offered as a service to the public, and no other person is granted access to it.
The application may be used only with a Google account that the user is authorised to access, and only to access that user's own data. It must not be used to access data belonging to anyone else, to circumvent Google's terms, or for any unlawful purpose.
The user is responsible for the security of the computer on which the application and its stored credentials reside, and for revoking access if that computer is lost, compromised or retired. Instructions for revoking access are in the Privacy Policy.
The application is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Backups and other outputs are provided as a convenience and are not a guarantee of data recovery; the user should maintain independent backups of anything important.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author of the application shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to the use of the application.
